After the Suns loss against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, Kevin Durant explained his thoughts on Draymond Green’s suspension.

Durant remarked, “That was insane to see … Never seen that before on a basketball court (or) a NBA game … He hasn’t been that way when I was around or coming into the league, so hopefully he gets the help he needs.”

Durant was teammates with Green during his three seasons with the Warriors, plus during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

It was a slap to the face of the Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic that resulted in Green being suspended indefinitely by the NBA.

Nurkic shared a similar sentiment as Durant, expressing that he still has plenty of respect for, at least according to Nurkic, the future Hall of Famer.

“I have a lot of respect for him, obviously, even before this. I still have it. I don’t know what people go through. It’s not our problem, but he’s an NBA champion for me, Hall of Famer still.”

Draymond Green will now receive counseling and will work with the Warriors to determine when he can return to the league.
