Although this year didn’t showcase much of the brilliant Arizona sun for the Annexus Pro-Am, applause was heard at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. A familiar face emerged from the crowd. It was none other than Larry Fitzgerald, the legendary former Arizona Cardinals player. He had a Super Bowl 58 prediction that might surprise you. ‘It’s hard to bet against Patrick Mahomes,’ he said, setting the stage for an interesting discussion on football’s biggest event.

The former Cardinal has seen what Mahomes is capable of first-hand. He faced him in 2018, where Kansas City defeated Arizona 26-14.
Despite Mahomes’ continued success in big games, the Chiefs stand as underdogs against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Fitzgerald was invited to play in the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open Annexus Pro-Am. He was one of many former/current athletes to participate in the Scottsdale event this year.
The soon-to-be NFL Hall of Famer has made golf a big part of his post-retirement career. This is one of several Pro-Am tournaments he has partaken in.
Along with the rest of the world, Fitzgerald will be tuned in to watch Super Bowl 58.
