Allen’s previous career high was eight with the Bucks against the Wizards on Jan. 1, 2023. Allen recorded his ninth assist with 3:22 left in the second quarter when he found Kevin Durant for a pull-up jumper.

Allen’s season high before tonight was six assists, and he had four in the first quarter. Durant had 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting in this first quarter, allowing the Suns to take control early.

At the half, Allen also has six points on 2-of-3 shooting to go along with his assists. The Suns lead the Jazz 75-66 and once were up by as much as 19.

Bradley Beal has 16 points and five assists, so he is on pace to tie his season high of 10 assists. As a team the Suns have 23 assists after recording just 17 and three in the first half in their win over the Bucks Tuesday.

The Suns are 14-2 when recording 30-plus assists this season and are 3-0 in the season series against Utah. We will see if they can keep up this strong ball movement in the second half.
