Shriners Children’s 500 Takes Center Stage at Phoenix Raceway

In case you missed it, on November 2nd, Phoenix Raceway announced that the NASCAR Cup Series taking place on March 10th has been changed to the Shriners Children’s 500.

Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey announced, “We are excited to welcome Shriners Children’s to Phoenix Raceway as the entitlement partner for our NASCAR Cup Series race in March. Shriners Children’s is dedicated to changing and improving the lives of children, and we are happy to help magnify their important work throughout the region.”

The Shriners Children’s 500 is set to conclude a thrilling tripleheader race weekend at Phoenix Raceway from March 8 to 10. Kicking off the excitement will be the ARCA Menards Series on Friday, March 8, then the Xfinity Series on Saturday, March 9, starting at 2:30 PM.

Ed Stolze, CEO of Shriners Children’s explained, “We are excited to team up with NASCAR in support of our mission to change and improve the lives of children. Since our founding in 1922, our healthcare system has helped more than 1.5 million children receive high-quality specialty medical care.”

Practice for the Shriners Children’ 500 will be on March 8th.

Last year, William Byron was crowned champion.
