Harden has played 41 games in a Clipper jersey. He is averaging 17.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game.
At first glance, these numbers may not seem very impressive considering he has put up better counting stats in each of the last 11 seasons.

What is impressive is the fact that the former MVP is doing this alongside high-usage players such as Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Norman Powell.
The efficiency of Harden stands out above all else. He is shooting 45% from the field, 41% from beyond the arc, and 87% at the free throw line.

Harden currently stands as the only player in the NBA this season averaging 17+ points per game on less than 12 shot attempts.
Chance at a ring?
The Clippers should be considered a legitimate championship contender this season. They currently stand at 31-15 and are the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, two games behind the top seed.
It is worth noting that the team has won 28 of its last 36 games played.

Harden has been striving to win a championship for over a decade now. This may be his best opportunity to do so since making a finals appearance with the Thunder in 2012.
