Tied with only 35.9 seconds left in the game, the Carolina Hurricanes scored twice before the buzzer as they beat the Coyotes 3-1 Saturday night.

Dylan Guenther had the lone goal and Connor Ingram stockpiled 36 saves in the loss for the Coyotes (23-22-3) who have lost three consecutive games.
On a 2-on-2 rush in the offensive zone, Dylan Guenther tried to reach Cooley with a pass. Unable to find an open lane, Guenther fired a shot of the right leg pad of Raanta before Cooley was in the right place at the right time, deflecting the puck into the net for a 1-0 Coyotes lead with 5:39 left in the first period.

Splitting between Arizona’s defense, Nečas had a breakaway before he hit the post and looked towards the rafters at the end of the initial 20 minutes.
However, Nečas redeem himself 7:57 into the middle frame as he rifled the puck over Ingram’s blocker to tie the game, 1-1.
From that goal onward, Carolina had a plethora of opportunities to score, but Arizona remained in the game only because of one person: Ingram who made save after save.
Offensively, the Coyotes had just one shot from 5:26 in the second period until there was 1:04 left in the third, courtesy of Guenther.
After the clock ticked down into the final minute, that was when the ‘Canes found the breakthrough they were hunting for.
From a sharp angle, Dmitry Orlov found a small hole of the net and scored past Ingram, capitalizing for Carolina with the eventual game-winner.
Fast added insult to injury with another goal 13 seconds after Orlov, sealing a 3-1 win for the Hurricanes.
