Snapping their 7-game winning streak, the Phoenix Suns faced defeat against the Pacers on Friday, a setback accompanied by the additional challenge of contending with a couple of injuries.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! For starters, Bradley Beal exited for a short period after receiving an elbow to the nose from Myles Turner. While Beal did return, it was obvious he was in pain.
After the game, Beal noted that blood just keeps coming down, so at this point, he is hoping it is not broken, per AZ Central’s Duane Rankin. An update will come tomorrow on the status of Beal’s nose.
"We'll find out tomorrow. Hopefully it's not broken."

Meanwhile, Jusuf Nurkic, who left the game in the second half and did not make a return, received relatively positive news. According to Rankin’s tweet, x-rays on Nurkic’s thumb came back negative, indicating no break; instead, it was multiple jams.

Here is what Coach Frank Vogel said about the injuries:
#Suns Frank Vogel injury updates on Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkić:
"Bradley Beal was out there trying to play with probably a broken nose, toughing it out. Credit to him for just being on the floor."
"We'll see how they respond tomorrow, but concerned (for them missing time)"

Of course, if either of these players were to miss some time, it would be a big blow to the Suns, who have started to find their rhythm as of late.
But, on the bright side, it appears they avoided any major injuries.
Stay tuned for further updates.
