Bradley Beal elbowed in face by Myles Turner, taken to locker room

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal was elbowed hard in the face while trying to take a charge on Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner with the Suns leading 94-87 with 8:09 left in the third quarter.

Beal was seen dripping blood from his nose onto the court. He had a towel over his face and was helped into the locker room.

Beal returned to the Suns’ bench to start the fourth quarter and checked back in shortly after. Jusuf Nurkić was ruled out with a left thumb injury.

Beal had 12 points and three rebounds in 24 minutes before checking out. Devin Booker is leading the charge for the Suns after he had a franchise-record 29 points in the first quarter.

Beal has had his fair share of injuries this season, missing 24 of the Suns’ 45 games so far.

Phoenix is looking to get to its longest win streak of the season tonight (8) in Indiana.
