It remains to be seen when and where Stetcher suffered a lower-body injury, but the stay-at-home defenseman will miss his third game of the season.

Returning to the valley in the summer via free agency, Stecher scored a goal, had four assists and a plus/minus rating of +7 in 42 games into his second stint as a Coyote.

Taking his place, Juuso Välimäki will re-enter Arizona’s lineup after being a healthy scratch for the past six games.

Välimäki has six assists, 18 hits and 35 blocks in 30 games this season.

The ‘Yotes face the Penguins inside Mullett Arena at 7 p.m. MST.
