Nationally Ranked

The Blue Devils have been ranked as the No. 1 team in Arizona for quite some time now. However, they have jumped up to the No. 8 ranked Boys soccer team in the entire country according to MaxPreps.

They have shown constant dominance all season long, outscoring opponents 92-10. The team has yet to allow more than one goal in a game this season, proving how incredible they are defensively.

Sunnyside has played excellently against some of the top teams in the state and should be considered the favorite for the 6A title this season.

Blue Devils Gain Recognition

After not getting the recognition that they deserve for a long time, the Blue Devils have forced teams/fans both in and out of state to pay attention to them.

Senior defensive star Sebastian Barrios was named the December Athlete of the Month for his elite level of play. Barrios and the rest of the Blue Devils have played some of their highest level of soccer this season.

The team has just five regular season games left this season. They will next match up against the Marana Tigers (1-10) as Sunnyside attempts to keep their dominance going.
