The MLB has released the start times for the entire 2024 season of games, including spring training and the regular season.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Spring training will officially kick off Thursday, Feb. 22 when the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres begin Cactus League play at 1:10 p.m. MST.
This season, spring training will also include the inaugural “Spring Breakout.”
Here’s how the MLB describes the event in a press release:
“The inaugural Spring Breakout, scheduled for Thursday, March 14th through Sunday, March 17th, will showcase baseball’s future and current stars of Minor League Baseball with each Major League Club fielding a team of their top prospects to play exhibition games against another Club’s top prospects. The four-day event will officially begin with two contests on March 14th as the top prospects of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles meet at 7:05 p.m. (ET) at LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida, and the top prospects of the Texas Rangers and the Cincinnati Reds square off at 6:05 p.m. (ET)/3:05 p.m. (PT) at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona on March 14th.”
In terms of Opening Day, the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres will begin the season a week earlier than everyone else. The two will square off for two games on March 20 and March 21 in the Seoul Series, the first-ever Major League games in South Korea. These games will begin at 3:05 a.m. MST and 7:05 p.m. in South Korea.
The Diamondbacks Spring Training Schedule
Coming off a World Series appearance, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be looking to turn even more heads with a revamped roster. As always, fans in Arizona are lucky enough that their home team stays in the Valley to play spring training, so they get the first look at what this year’s team will look like.

The Diamondbacks Full 2024 Regular Season Schedule
The D-backs open the regular season at home against the Rockies on March 28 at 7:10 p.m. MST. Their regular season schedule is highlighted by a World Series rematch in Texas against the Rangers on May 28 (5:35 p.m. MST) and May 29 (11:35 a.m. MST), as well as facing the re-loaded Dodgers plenty of times (as always), beginning with a home series on April 29 at 6:40 p.m. MST.
