San Luis has now won six straight games after drawing with Mesa during their first game of the season. The team has outscored opponents 25-2 and shut out six of its seven opponents.
Coming off a season where they lost in the 6A championship to the Perry Pumas, San Luis has continued that high level of play into the new season.

Their leading goalscorer has been senior midfielder Misael Meza, who has eight goals and seven assists, leading the team in both categories.
The Sidewinders’ next matchup comes against the 9-5 Tolleson Wolverines on Thursday, Jan. 11 @ 6 p.m. MST.
Bruins Look To Stay Afloat
The Bruins have not been able to put together a winning streak after the first two games of the season, but have also yet to lose two straight this season.
The team has been able to score at a high level, averaging almost three goals a game. However, they have allowed over two goals per game and have lost many of their games because of defensive performance.
Browne will next face off against the 3-5 Westwood Warriors, allowing them to get back on track as the playoffs approach.
