It is simple, a Cardinals (4-12) win on Sunday would knock Seattle out of the playoffs completely.
The Seahawks (8-8) controlled their destiny before taking a crushing 30-23 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17. They now need a win and more to happen to enter the playoffs. The easiest path for Seattle is a win and a loss/tie for the Green Bay Packers as they face the Chicago Bears.

While Arizona has been knocked out of the playoffs for weeks now, the team will undoubtedly try to do everything they can to cut their division rival’s season short.
Should Arizona Want To Win?
As much as it would mean to end Seattle’s season, a win on Sunday could potentially drop the Cardinals down to seventh overall in the 2024 NFL draft.
The team had the second overall pick locked up just last week but dropped down to fourth with their Week 17 win against the Philadelphia Eagles.

While many fans would prefer a better draft pick, the players and coaches are going to give this game their all as they did this past week. Kyler Murray and co. will look to end the season on a strong note while simultaneously ending the Seahawks’ season.
