The Cardinals win over the Eagles has shifted things in the NFC. The win by the 49ers over the Washington Commanders combined with Eagles loss clinched the one seed and a first round bye for them.
The Cowboys defeated the Lions on Saturday night and now control their own destiny when it comes to winning the NFC East after the Eagles loss. If Dallas beats the Commanders on Sunday, they will clinch the division title and the two seed.
Arizona has another shot to play spoiler in week 18. They are playing against the (8-8) Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is currently in the eight spot in the standings. For the Seahawks to make the playoffs, they need to defeat the Cardinals along with a Packers loss to the Chicago Bears.
If the Cardinals defeat the Seahawks, it opens the door for the New Orleans Saints to get a Wild Card spot. The Saints can get in the playoffs by either winning the NFC South. They need to win and have the Buccaneers lose to the Carolina Panthers.
The Bucs losing to the Panthers is very unlikely but the Saints may have a shot at getting a Wild Card spot. New Orleans can clinch a playoff spot with a win, Packers and Seahawks loss.
