James Conner ran for 45 yards on 12 carries. This was 3.8 yards per carry. Conner was 23rd in rushing yards last week.
Eight of the top ten rushers helped lead their team to victories in week 16. The leading rusher was Zamir White for the Las Vegas Raiders. He ran for 145 yards in their upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Receiving Yards
Conner is not known as a great receiving back but displayed his ability to catch the ball in this game. He caught five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Conner led the team in receiving yards.
This was Conner’s first receiving touchdown since November 27,2022 of last season. He caught three passes for 20 yards and a touchdown that day.
The former Pittsburgh Steeler had 112 total yards even with the running game being taken out pretty early with the Chicago Bears going up 21-0.
James Conner had a good game but he should never be the leading receiver. If he is the leading receiver the result of the game is most likely going to be a loss.
