These two teams are the only two NFL organizations who are have been operating since the league was first established back in 1920.

Beginning on Nov. 28, 1920, the original matchup between the Racine Cardinals (Arizona) and the Decatur Staleys (Chicago) resulted in a Cardinals win, 7-6.

Arizona would then move to St. Louis in 1960 before arriving in the valley in 1988.

On the flip side, the Bears went from Decatur, Illinois to Chicago a year after the NFL’s inception in 1921.

Since then, the Cardinals are 27-59-6 against the Bears all-time, though they are 3-2 in their last five.

Most recently, Arizona won 33-22 with QB Kyler Murray completing 11-15 yards for 123 yards, two touchdown passes and a 3-yard rushing TD on Dec. 5, 2021.
