Beal suffered a right ankle sprain that looked pretty bad during last Friday’s loss to the New York Knicks. He was seen during the next Suns’ game on crutches and wearing a slide on his right foot.

The Suns are really struggling without Beal, but their problems may be bigger than just waiting for him to come back. Phoenix lost the only game that all of Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant were in together. In total, the Suns have lost seven of their last 10 games.
Coach Frank Vogel outlined today all that Phoenix is missing without the star guard.
“He’s just a really dynamic offensive player, (who) makes life easier for the role players and for KD and Book, and he’s a two-way player as well,” Vogel said.
Beal has appeared in six contests this year and is averaging 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 25.2 minutes per game.
The Suns are 2-4 in the games that Beal has played in. In total, their Big 3 of Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have only played 24 minutes together this season.
