Kevin Durant post-practice press conference as the Phoenix Suns (12-8) are set to play in Los Angeles against the Lakers (12-9) tomorrow night in the quarterfinals of the NBA In-Season Tournament
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The Lakers have beaten the Suns twice this season, the latest of which of which came in the group stage of the In-Season Tournament. In both games, the Suns have blown a fourth quarter lead. Durant scored 39 points in the first matchup and 38 in the second despite the losses.
However, this will be the Suns first time having Devin Booker healthy and available against the Lakers.
“Obviously having Book(er) back is a huge factor into the whole matchup,” Durant said. “But guys (are) more settled into their roles than the second game this season, and I think we played with two or three weeks ago. More guys just getting comfortable with time. You can say the same thing for their team, they getting an understanding of one another more, and they know their roles a little bit more and different guys are playing in the rotation. So, I think it’ll be two different teams out there come tomorrow night and that should be a fun matchup.”
