Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday injury report

The Arizona Cardinals (2-10) and Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4) have continued their preparations for their Week 13 battle on Dec. 3 with another practice today.

Additionally, there were players from both teams that were either added to the injury reports or their status’ changed.

Arizona Cardinals

Did Not Participate: wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel), cornerback Antonio Hamilton (groin), wide receiver Zach Pascal (personal) cornerback Starling Thomas V (ankle) and wide receiver Michael Wilson (shoulder).

Limited Practice Participant: safety Joey Blount (knee), defensive tackle Kevin Strong (knee), offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson (neck), tight end Trey McBride (groin) and safety Jalen Thompson (ribs)

Full Practice Participant: N/A

Besides Pascal being out on a personal matter, there were no new additions to the non-participants.

However, some good news for Cardinals fans is that both McBride and Thompson have returned to practice.

With former Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz being released on waivers today, Arizona hopes that McBride can make a swift return against the Steelers.

This season, McBride has played in all 12 games, recorded 48 receptions for 521 yards and scored a touchdown.

For Thompson, he has started all 10 games he has suited up for, caught 3 interceptions, forced a fumble, got 55 tackles and a sack.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Did Not Participate: defensive tackle Cam Heyward (rest, groin), wide receiver Diontae Johnson (illness) and cornerback James Pierre (shoulder).

Limited Practice Participant: wide receiver Calvin Austin III (ankle)

Full Practice Participant: quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle), safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring), defensive tackle Montravius Adams (ankle) and wide receiver Allen Robinson (rest, foot).

Removed From Report: cornerback Patrick Peterson (rest) and guard Isaac Seumalo (rest).

Previously, Peterson and Seumalo both took a rest day yesterday and did not practice, but they have been both removed from the Steelers’ injury report today.

However, Johnson (illness) and Pierre (shoulder) are new additions to the report.

Tomorrow is the last day of practices before the Cardinals head Pennsylvania to play the Steelers on Dec. 3 at 11 a.m.
