Jusuf Nurkić got the chance to square off against his former team for the first time in the regular season tonight, as the Suns hosted the Blazers for their third In-Season Tournament Game. Phoenix defeated Portland 120-107.

Phoenix is now 8-6 on the year and has won four straight.
“I love it,” Nurkić said about playing his former team. “I have a lot of respect, a lot of love for the people there from top to bottom. (I) just love being able to share the floor against them and compete. It’s great for me to see familiar faces and people and just to be around them for a little bit.”
The Suns welcome Chris Paul and the Warriors tomorrow night at Footprint Center in the second game of a back to back.
