However, their much-anticipated return won’t be a walk in the park, as they face off against the scorching Minnesota Timberwolves.

Currently riding a seven-game winning streak, the Timberwolves boast an impressive 8-2 record, securing the second spot in the fiercely competitive Western Conference, just trailing the Denver Nuggets.

Notably, Minnesota stands as the sole undefeated team against Western Conference opponents this season, with their only defeats handed to them by the Atlanta Hawks and the Toronto Raptors on opening night.

Adding to the Timberwolves’ recent triumphs is the fact that their last three victories came on the road, including two hard-fought battles in Golden State.

While the Timberwolves may not hold the best offense in the league, as they are actually in the bottom half of the NBA in terms of scoring, the Timberwolves have showcased an ironclad defense.

Allowing a mere 103 points per game in their first 10 outings, they currently hold the defensive throne in the league.

Their opponents struggle against them, holding a meager .315 3pt percentage, a feat that places them at the top of the NBA with almost a full percentage point lead.

Complicating matters for the Suns is their underwhelming performance at home this season, sporting a lackluster 1-4 record and suffering four consecutive home game losses, marred by second-half collapses.

While the Suns dominated the Timberwolves with a 3-1 record last season, it’s glaringly evident that Minnesota has transformed into an entirely different force this year.

Led by Anthony Edwards, averaging 27 points per game, Karl-Anthony Towns with 9.5 rebounds per game, and Rudy Gobert boasting over 12 rebounds per game, the Timberwolves are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

This eagerly awaited matchup tips off at 7 PM Arizona time
