Arizona Coyotes center Barrett Hayton stated to the media about his thoughts on his first goal of the 2023-24 season, playing on a line with Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz, how he personally feels about his performances this year have gone and more.

Last night, Hayton scored a goal, registered two shots, and had 18:34 time-on-ice.

That tally would be Hayton’s first point in 12 games this season.

When asked about not being able to get on the scoresheet until last night against Seattle, Hayton believes that his all-around game stays the same, regardless of how many points he puts on the board.

“I am a competitor and I want to produce without a doubt,” Hayton said. “Sometimes, you just have to trust the process and stick with what you are doing. I feel I can impact the game more than just scoring.”
