Originally, multiple NFL insiders believed that Murray would have returned against the Cleveland Browns.
Additionally, former quarterback Josh Dobbs was dealt to the Minnesota Vikings before the NFL Trade Deadline on Oct. 31.
However, with no announcement of Murray being activated to the Cardinals 53-man roster, he stayed on the sidelines.
Instead, rookie Clayton Tune was the No. 1 QB in the 27-0 shutout loss to Cleveland yesterday.
This comes news as Murray has been practicing since Oct. 18 when he was designated by Arizona to return from injured reserve.
Following an ACL injury suffered on Dec. 12, 2022 against the New England Patriots, Murray is even closer his NFL comeback.
But, if the Cardinals believe he is still not ready by Nov. 8, Murray will ineligible to play a snap for the rest of the season as his three-week practice window expires.
