Booker’s stat line in his return from a 3-game absence was 31 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds.

The 9-year pro finished just one board shy of a triple-double in a game where the Suns never led. At one point the San Antonio Spurs led by 27 in the first half and nearly blew it.

Phoenix came back to tie the game in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Spurs who were lead by a Victor Wembanyama breakout performance of 38 PTS, 10 REB on 15-25 shooting from the field.
