With RB Emari Demercado not practicing due to a toe injury, the Arizona Cardinals have signed Tony Jones Jr. to their active roster ahead of Week 9.

As a senior, Tony Jones Jr. averaged 6 yards per carry through 144 attempts; he also scored 7 total touchdowns.
This season, Jones spent around 10 days on the Cardinals active roster before being claimed off waivers by the Saints.
Now, he is back in Arizona with hopes of seeing his first NFL carry.
In Week 9, the Cardinals will be going up against a top-10 run defense, as the Cleveland Browns have allowed less than 100 yards per game on the ground this season.
The Cardinals are also still without James Conner, who is currently on the IR with a knee injury.
