This iconic song has become a Philadelphia anthem, thanks to Meek Mill’s deep roots in the city.
The tradition took flight when the Eagles adopted it during their 2018 playoff run, even having Meek Mill perform on the sideline during multiple regular season games.
Meek Mill’s connection to Philly sports deepened when he threw out the first pitch at Game 5 of the World Series last year when the Phillies faced the Astros.
Ironically, the Eagles lost in the Super Bowl in 2018, and the Phillies met the same fate in the 2022 World Series.
Now, it was the Diamondbacks turn to play the anthem as they advanced to their first Fall Classic since 2001.
