After the victory, Booker was asked in his TNT postgame interview what he had to say to the naysayers who think the team doesn’t have a point guard.
“I don’t know, I’ll let you guys talk to them,” Booker said.

In addition to his playmaking, Booker is now the leading scorer in the entire NBA after opening night. The team hopes to get Bradley Beal back for Thursday’s game against the Lakers after he missed tonight due to lower back tightness.
Getting Beal back should not limit Booker’s playmaking ability, only increase it, as he was singlehandedly creating offense for others down the stretch. Beal will open up even more options.
As for now, Booker and the Suns can relish in tonight’s victory. They can also learn a lot from how the new group looked in the first game of 82.
