For the Phoenix Suns regular season opener against the Golden State Warriors, there is no favorite to win on DraftKings. Both teams are premiering their regular season at even money.

Who Should be the Favorite?

In my Opinion, the Suns should easily be the favorite. The Warriors deserve respect, obviously. Any team with Steph Curry on it, is good. But, this Suns team is overwhelmingly good. In the first part of the regular season, depth is no issue here. Especially against a rivalry team, the Suns are going to try and blow them out. Put the league on notice. I also love how young the Suns are in comparison to the Warriors.

Are Their Any Profitable Plays?

Of course there are. All the plus money plays that have been released by DraftKings to this point are Combo plays. Combining a teams money line with their spread, or money line with the game total over / under. In my opinion, if you go Warriors money line it’s just a donation. In the early part of the regular season, Suns stars can play 33+ minutes and be just fine. Once we get into the latter part of the year depth can become an issue. Right now however, they’re going to light up the scoreboard.

The Over, or the Under?

The over/under for the game on Tuesday is set at 232.5, which is a great line. I think there is a great argument for both. The Suns can score a crazy amount of point with all of the options they have, that’s what worries me about the under. Let’s say for arguments sake the Suns just put it on the Warriors and put up 130 points. At that point, starter are getting pulled early and we’re seeing a lot of bench players play. Golden State might score 115, and there goes the under. Neither of these teams are known for stellar defensive play either way. I love the over here.
