Following him being designated to return from injured reserve last week, linebacker Myjai Sanders will have to look elsewhere for another NFL opportunity after the news came out that he has been released from the Arizona Cardinals.

Yesterday, it was reported by multiple sources that the Cardinals were either trying to trade Sanders or cut him if there were no offers.

With the announcement of his release, it’s fair to assume that Arizona received little to no interest from other teams to make a deal for Sanders.

Additionally, Sanders was the last draft pick selected by former Cardinals general manager Steve Keim in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

In 13 appearances, Sanders had 3 sacks last year.

With a hand injury, Sanders did not feature in a snap this season.

There is some speculation on possible landing spots for Sanders, but time will tell if he finds another opportunity in the NFL soon as he is a free agent now.
