Joshua Dobbs, who had not thrown an interception all season, threw two today. To compound matters, one of these interceptions was returned for a touchdown late in the second quarter.

Against a Cincinnati defense that entered this game worst in almost every metric, Dobbs threw for just 166 yards.

The Cardinals failed to score on their final four drives.

On the flip side, despite the Bengals having scored just three offensive touchdowns in the first four weeks of the season, Ja’Maar Chase made history by securing a franchise record with 15 receptions.

Chase personally contributed three touchdowns to the team’s tally, amassing a total of 192 receiving yards in the process.

Although the Cardinals still managed to keep their deficit within four points, the Bengals finally pulled away with 10 unanswered points to end the game.

The statistics further highlighted the Bengals’ dominance, as they recorded 27 first downs compared to Arizona’s 15.

Joe Burrow’s performance was noteworthy as well, as he threw for 315 yards, marking his first 300+-yard game of the season.

Looking ahead, the Cardinals will face the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday. Last year, the Rams won both of their matchups against Arizona.
