With his team trailing 9-0 against the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the second, David Peralta scorched a double into the gap, which propelled a bit of a questionable celebration.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Of course, the quick dance seemed nothing short of an attempt to get the Dodgers riled up, however, many fans on both sides disagreed with the timing of the celebration.
Peralta was ultimately stranded at second base as James Outman popped up to end the inning.

I’m actually embarrassed for David Peralta. Who the hell dances after a hit when you are down 9-0!

I'll always love David Peralta but why are you celebrating a double like that down by 9 runs?

David Peralta is dancing on 2nd with 2 outs…
Down 9-0 in the 2nd.

It is important to add that David Peralta previously played with the Diamondbacks for nine seasons before joining the Dodgers in 2022.
And, considering the love expressed by both sides ahead of this series, the celebration seemed to be nothing short of Peralta having fun on the diamond.
