One of the new additions of the Phoenix Suns, center Udoka Azubuike, said at media day he is excited to be in Arizona and feels he can be a great fit for the franchise.

Before signing a two-way contract with Phoenix, Azubuike spent the three past seasons with the Utah Jazz.
Azubuike, a former first round pick by the Jazz in the 2020 NBA draft, says defense is his biggest strength and he is ready to help the team in any way he can.
“Just coming in, I want to be a defensive-minded guy,” Azubuike said. “I am ready and locked.”
In 68 career games, the 6’10” center from Nigeria started 10 games, averaged 3 rebounds and 3.3 points.
