WWE’s Friday Night Smackdown is coming to Glendale

For the first time ever, Friday Night Smackdown will bring its champions to Glendale to film its nationally broadcasted live event as the WWE comes to Desert Diamond Arena on Friday, Sept. 22.

In a nearly sold out event, the show will begin at 4:45 p.m with major headliners appearing on the roster.

Last Friday night, The Rock returned to Smackdown after nearly four years out of the ring. His return was viewed on social platforms over 103m times, breaking the the record for the most viewed clip of 2023.

WWE fans are highly anticipating a surprise return on Friday from veteran Randy Orton who has been absent from the roster since May of 2022. His last appearance was when he and Matt Riddle, a.k.a RK-Bro, lost in a WWE Tag Team Championship match against the Usos.
