After heading into halftime with a 20-0 lead, the Arizona Cardinals allowed the Giants to score 24 unanswered points in a devastating comeback.

Right out of the gate to start the 3rd quarter, Daniel Jones connected with rookie WR Jalin Hyatt for a 58-yard completion. This setup a 14-yard rushing touchdown by Jones; it was the Giants first points scored all season.

While the Cardinals did initially answer back with a 75-yard touchdown drive that ended with a two-point conversion, from there on out, it was all Giants.

In the second half, New York scored touchdowns on four of their five drives, the other being the go-ahead field goal with less than 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals, after looking so sharp offensively, went completely silent. Their final two real drives consisted of six plays for -2 yards. Three penalties were also committed by Arizona in this span.

Joshua Dobbs threw for just 85 yards in the final two quarters.

Contrarily, Daniel Jones ended the afternoon with 321 yards from the air and an additional 59 from the ground. Last year during the regular season, Jones had just two games where he tallied over 350 yards of total yardage.

This loss is a major blow to the Cardinals, who arguably played their best half of football since 2021.

Through the first two games of this season, Arizona has been outscored by their opponents 27-0 in the 4th quarter. They have lost both games by less than five points.

Next up for the Cardinals is another home battle against an NFC East team; this time it will be the Dallas Cowboys heading to State Farm Stadium next Sunday.
