The game was much slower than what has been seen out of the the Rising lately with its top two scorers in Danny Trejo and Manuel Arteaga failing to find the back of the net throughout 90 minutes. The two stars have scored one goal each in the Rising’s previous three games straight.

One point was awarded to the Rising after their draw on Saturday and the team increased to 42 points – nine points behind No. 1 ranked Sacramento Republic and six points ahead of the No. 9 spot.

The top eight teams in both conferences advance to playoffs and with only a handful of games remaining, the Rising’s chances at seeing a playoff appearance is good.

The Rising’s next game is on Saturday, Sept. 16 when they face Detroit City at Phoenix Rising Stadium. Until then, the team will take a week to reevaluate their offense and figure out how to put together some scoring drives against the No. 8 team.
