The former Clipper may be set up to win the sixth man of the year award for this upcoming season. The last four winners of the award were on teams that finished the season with the first or second best record in their conference. The Suns definitely have the ability to finish the season with a top two seed.

Gordon is no stranger to the award as he won it for the 2016-17 season. He averaged 16.2 points per game and shot 40% from the field for the Houston Rockets. The Rockets had the third best record in the western conference that season.

The former Indiana Hoosier has become a more efficient player over the last two years, shooting 47% and 44% from the field, respectively. Gordon has the ability to average at least 15 points while shooting 45% from the floor for one of the best teams in the league, this season. Gordon should definitely be in the running for sixth man of the year.

For the bettors out there, Gordon is a considered a long shot for the award at +5500. This may the season long bet to take a chance on.
