The Diamondbacks, who have navigated a season filled with ups and downs, are presently deadlocked with the Miami Marlins, San Francisco Giants, and Cincinnati Reds. All four teams claim a .511 winning percentage.

Adding to the drama, the D-backs have seven upcoming games against the Cubs in September. Currently, the Cubs occupy the second spot in the NL Wild Card race, holding a three-game advantage over Arizona.

When examining the strength of schedule, it’s worth noting that the Miami Marlins are facing the most challenging schedule among the teams entangled in this race.

The Marlins’ upcoming schedule includes several challenging matchups against teams like the Braves, Dodgers, Phillies, and Brewers.

In addition to their games against the Cubs, the Diamondbacks also have some tough matchups ahead, including contests against the Yankees, Giants, and a concluding three-game series against the Astros as the season draws to a close.

And it may be important to note that the Padres are on a hot streak with a current three-game winning streak. San Diego is now only 5.5 games behind a Wild Card spot and possess one of the league’s easiest remaining schedules.

Which team do you think will grab the last Wild Card spot in the National League?
