Okogie will return to the Suns on a two-year, $5.77 million deal with a $2.96M player option on the second year, per ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

Okogie was a big part of the Suns last season, especially after the Kevin Durant trade, assuming the fifth starter role for the regular season. He will now return to the Suns for at least one more season and has a chance to be a starter again.

He played in 72 total games his first season with the Suns, starting 26 of them. He averaged 7.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.8 SPG and 0.5 BPG on 39/34/72 splits for the year.

There were a lot of questions on if Okogie’s play last season would land him another contract with a different ream for more money, but he ends up staying with the Suns. There are no reported terms yet.

He confirmed the news on social media.
