The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver hails from St. Martinville High School.

Charles is one of eight official visitors at ASU this weekend. Coach Kenny Dillingham hinted that another commitment will likely be coming soon.

Ra’Shaad Samples has proven to be one of the top recruiters in the Pac-12, already bringing in highly-rated recruits in his first season as ASU’s wide receiver coach. Charles was offered by ASU only a week ago before committing today.

He also had self-announced offers from Arkansas State, Central Florida, Grambling State, Houston, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Southern Miss, Troy and Tulane.

Charles joins Texas receivers Elijah Baesa and Zechariah Sample as the 2024 wide receiver commits.

Given how stacked ASU’s wide receiver room is right now but with mostly juniors and seniors, the Sun Devils are loading up at the position for the future.
