Following Devin Booker’s 36-point Game 4 performance against the Nuggets, Shaq issued an apology to the Suns’ SG.

Shaq previously stated that Booker shooting at such a high rate was not sustainable for the Suns; however, somehow, D-Book has shown no signs of slowing down.

The apology, of course, reminded many of one of the greatest Shaq quotes of all time.

Booker became the first Suns’ player to record 35+ points in three consecutive playoff games. He also has the most points by ANY player throughout the first eight games of the playoffs since Michael Jordan in 1990.

After shooting 20 of 25 on Friday, Booker followed this performance up by shooting 14 of 18 in Game Four. Combined between these two games, he is shooting at a nearly ridiculous 80% rate.

It has been quite the historic run for the man who has been the heart and soul of the Suns’ roster since 2015.

While fans in the valley have grown accustomed to these types of performances, now, with the lights shining brighter in the playoffs, the whole league gets to witness the greatness.
