It was a tough Game 2 for the Suns especially on Offense as they fall to the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 by a final score of 97-87.

The Suns had no answer for Nikola Jokic as he scored 39 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and was a force all over the place on both offense and defense

The Nuggets got an off game by Jamal Murray who had 8 points on 3-15 shooting but he hit a dagger three to ultimately win them the game.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished the game with 14 points and hit all 4 of his threes with 3 of them coming in the fourth quarter. It helped spark a 21-8 run that left the Suns in shambles.

Speaking of the Suns, their shooting woes continue as they finished the game with 19% from three on 40% shooting. Deven Booker led the team with 35 points and Kevin Durant was behind him with 24.

The bad news however is Chris Paul left the game in the second-half with a groin injury and now his status for Fridays game at home is up in the air.

Cameron Payne who replaced him played 16 minutes and only scored 2 points and the bench unit continues to struggle in the playoffs for the Suns.

A plus for the Suns is their defense was unbelievable tonight and it’s a positive moving forward into game 3. Unfortunately the new Chris Paul injury and lack of shooting for the Suns has been a problem for the Suns.

The Suns can’t get out of Denver fast enough as they’re looking for any edge on Friday.
