Suns insider Rowan Donaghey believes that the Suns are a lot of things, and competitive is one of them. Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant are known as some of the most competitive players the NBA have right now.

In today’s episode of Burn City Daily, I break down why I think the Suns have a chance to steal game 2.

Suns Come out Hot

Like I mentioned before, this team is full of players that compete, add a competitive coach in Monty Williams and I know the Suns will come out with a chip on their shoulder.

These are veteran players who know what is at stake as well as what playoff basketball is all about. The Suns should not be mad that they loss game 1, however they should be mad about they way in which they loss.

They will come out more focused, cutting down the turnovers. I think they scheme better for stopping Jokic and Murray, which is almost impossible. Holding them to under 20-25 points could be considered slowing them down.

Booker, Durant and Paul will be as aggressive as we have ever seen them play, they will be locked in for a battle come game 2.

Even if Denver protects home court tonight, look for this game to come down to the wire. My guess is both teams reach 115 points and the first to 117 wins it.
