Kevin Durant had a good efficient game with 29 points on 12-19 shooting but he had a team-high 7 turnovers. Devin Booker as well had a good efficient night scoring 27 on 11-19 shooting. The rest of the team failed to have a player score over 15 points and the team as a whole only made 7 threes and shot 30% from three.

The Nuggets on the other hand had a great opening night as Jamal Murray scored a team-high 34 points to go along with 9 assists and hit 6 threes to help them win.

Nikola Jokic had a good game in his own right as he dropped 24 points and 19 rebounds. Aaron Gordon also had 23 points and 6 rebounds himself and the team had 14 steals and shot 43% from three-point range.

One of the things the Suns talked about a lot after the game was the pace of how they played in Game One and how it wasn’t up to their usual standard. Chris Paul took responsibility and now the Suns are looking to try to even the series tonight. Here are the odds and predictions for the game.

Odds For Game 2

Spread: The Nuggets are favored at -4

Over/Under: The Over/Under is set at 229

Moneyline: The Nuggets are set at -175 and the Suns are set at +152.

Prediction For Game 2:

I got the Nuggets winning Game 2 tonight by a final score of 120-112. I think the Suns will make proper adjustments from a pace standpoint but the Nuggets defense is going to continue to show out and build that momentum with being aggressive with their hands and that will lead to timely transition buckets.

I think this won’t necessarily put the Suns in jeopardy yet if this were to happen, but it will the Nuggets all the control in this series going into game 3. Hopefully the Suns can tie it later tonight at Ball Arena.
