This isn’t the first time Charles Barkley has talked about the Phoenix Suns as he’s a former hall-of-fame player who played for the Suns for 4 seasons while leading them to 1 western conference championship.

Unfortunately for this series, Barkley doesn’t have a lot of faith in his Suns as he believes that outside of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, he doesn’t believe the Suns have enough scoring to stay afloat when it comes to the Nuggets all around roster.

Durant for the game finished with 29 points and Booker finished with 27 both on efficient shooting nights. Outside of the two, the rest of the Suns’ team failed to score more than 15 points with Deandre Ayton finishing with 14 points and Chris Paul finishing with 11 points respectively.

According to Fanduel, the Suns are the favorites to come out of the West despite Barkley’s concerns for the team. But it is clear that the Suns have to figure things out fast if they want to change this series around.

The Suns will have a chance to prove Sir Charles wrong in Game 2 as they head back to Ball Arena on Monday night.
