Coming up on a week since ASU’s spring game, the Sun Devils have seen several key depth players enter the transfer portal.
In a Zoom press conference today, Dillingham discussed the positions he and his staff are looking to add from the portal in the midst of the departing transfers and what he has seen from spring ball.
Kenny Dillingham on remaining transfer portal needs: 'Right now we need an OL, we need a DL and we need a LB and we'll have room for an elite player with a preference for getting younger guys.'

These are some of the ASU players that have entered the portal so far: OL Thomas Le Boucher, DL Jalil Rivera-Harvey, DT Robby Harrison, DL Brandon McElroy, QB Bennett Meredith, OL Danny Valenzuela, LB Spencer McKelligon, DE Dylan Hall, walk-on LB Charlie Allen and TE Jacob Newell.
Dillingham also said that his main approach to recruiting these players is honesty. He discussed that the suspension of an NCAA rule which only allows 25 new scholarship players for a team, made it easier for the Sun Devils to get back up to 85 players on their team, as ASU deals with the effects of the NCAA investigation and bringing in a new coaching staff.
As Dillingham works to establish the culture he envisions for the ASU program, he said that season ticket sales “have been through the roof,” as more than 90% of season ticket holders have renewed already and more than 3,000 new tickets have been sold.

Dillingham and ASU still appear to have lots of work to do with spring practices wrapped up and the season starting August 31.
This season will be the “beginning of a dynasty” says ASU DB Jordan Clark
