The Devin Booker train just keeps on rolling today as he just made NBA history after another great performance in last night’s game against the Clippers.

Booker joins two MVP players in Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley as the only players to ever score 105+ points on 60% shooting through their first three postseason games.

Michael Jordan in that 1992 playoff run averaged 30 PPG on 52% shooting overall. Charles Barkley in his 1994 playoff run averaged 28 PPG on 50% shooting.

Jordan ended up winning the NBA finals that year and Barkley went 7 games in the second round before losing to the eventual NBA champion Houston Rockets with Hakeem Olajuwon.

It’s only a small sample size but Booker so far in the playoffs is averaging 36 PPG, 5 APG, 3 SPG, and on 60/41/86 percent shooting.

Booker after the game discussed what this game has meant to him growing up and how much he has prepared for this moment since he was a little kid.

With Booker just entering his prime at 26 years old, we can expect to see more great things from the future hall-of-fame shooting guard.
