The Suns rested their starters for the remaining two games of the season and will go into the playoffs with their starting lineup healthy and ready. Unfortunately in the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, two of the Suns’ better rotational players Cameron Payne and Bismack Biyombo got hurt with neck and knee injuries.

But it was said after the game by head coach Monty Williams that there isn’t a cause for concern and they avoided much worse injuries. That’s not to say that Payne and Biyombo will be ready for game one, but it is a good step in the right direction for the team that they can expect at some point in the near future.

The Clippers are still without all-star player Paul George who injured his knee a couple of weeks ago against the Thunder and there is no timetable for his return. However, George did announce today that he will give an update tomorrow on his podcast.

The Suns finished the season series with the Clippers tied 2-2 and it should be a fun matchup between the two division rivals. Time is still to be determined but we can prepare for a loud Footprint Center come Sunday.
