It’s no secret that Jae Crowder had this game circled on his calendar as soon as the trade happened that sent him from Brooklyn to Milwaukee a few weeks ago. Crowder wanted a win more than ever against his former team and he got his wish as the Bucks defeated the Suns 104-101.
Crowder finished the game with 7 points and had 2 made threes in 25 minutes of action. After the game, he talked with a reporter after the game and he told her in front of the Bucks fans what he told his teammates before the game.
“I told the guys before I walked in this morning, please get this win for me. I want this one real, real bad. So thank you, guys, for all the support glad we could get the win.”

The last three minutes of the game saw a lot of bad turnovers and shot selections that didn’t end up going the Suns’ way. From Deandre Ayton passing up an open look to Josh Okogie missing a putback layup, to Devin Booker missing a free throw at the end. Things didn’t go the Suns’ way today in a game that was more than winnable down the stretch.
Hopefully, with Kevin Durant coming back soon (possibly even next game) things may turn around in clutch situations for the Phoenix Suns down the later stretch of the season.
