Kevin Durant was asked a variety of questions about what it’s like getting to play alongside Devin Booker in the future and the future Hall of Famer couldn’t contain his excitement about the possibilities that they both bring to the offense.
“I’m looking forward to being able to play alongside Book. He plays kind of similar to how I play we use the same spots on the floor we try to do it quickly and efficiently so I’m looking forward to working with him.”
KD was asked how his game would mesh well with Devin Booker and he gave a very insightful answer.

Offensively Booker and Durant’s games are similar especially when it comes to mid-range efficiency. Durant is shooting an absurd 59% from the floor and Booker is shooting 48% from the floor.
Over the last 5 seasons between Booker, Durant, and Chris Paul they rank in the top 4 in most mid-range field goals trailing only behind Demar Derozan.
Most mid-range field goals over the last 5 seasons:
DeMar DeRozan: 1,123
Devin Booker: 755
Kevin Durant: 727
Chris Paul: 631Source: Matt Williams

Last week shortly after the trade, Shaq made a comment about that and even gave them an awesome nickname to rock with for the remainder of the season.

In regards to Booker and Durant, it was watching his journey coming into the league up close that made it even more special for Durant to want to come aboard and play alongside him.
“I just wanted to be a part of his journey and see how good he could get from here. He’s just one of those players I really admire.”
