Last Night, the Phoenix Suns made it official as Terrance Ross is now an official member of the Phoenix Suns as he just put pen to paper to ink his deal to join the team according to the Suns.
Officially official! ✍️

Ross is in his 11th year and is now playing on the third different team of his career. He recently just bought out his contract from the Magic and chose last second to join forces with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker after the Mavericks appeared to be a front-runner for his services.
After Suns owner Mat Ishbia and coach Monty Willams joined the pursuit, G Terrence Ross plans to sign with the Phoenix Suns, sources tell ESPN. Ross, finalizing a contract buyout with the Magic, brings his 38% 3-point shooting to Suns' title pursuit. pic.twitter.com/AKTjsrT0dP

During this season, Ross is averaging 8.0 PPG in 22 minutes while shooting 38% from three. When it comes to wide-open contested three’s, Ross is shooting 55% from deep. During his contested looks he’s shooting 37% from deep.
With Landry Shamet out for some time, it’s really great for the Suns to get a veteran presence off the bench to hit shots from deep alongside Payne when he comes back and Damion Lee.
Another great element that Suns fans should be excited about is that he’s not only just a three-point specialist. He’s an above-average mid-range and rim scorer as well as a shot creator. He and T.J. Warren in this system are going to give defense’s fits especially when they’re playing alongside Josh Okogie and Jock Landale who both defend the paint really well.
There has been no discussion on when Ross will be available to play, my strong opinion is it probably won’t occur until after the all-star break. But we shall see come tomorrow night when the Suns host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
